Current Projects
There are many ways in which you can be involved with Foal Farm and here are some of the many fun and worthwhile projects that need your help. Please download the volunteering registration form, go to donate now or email us at volunteering@foalfarm.org.uk as appropriate.
Memorial Garden
Objectives: A garden has been created at Foal Farm where you can have a plaque placed in memory of a much loved pet. In doing so you also have the comfort of knowing that you are supporting the important work done to help the animals that find themselves in need of the care provided at Foal Farm.
You are welcome to come and sit and view your plaque in quiet reflection, in pleasant surroundings.
Foal Farm thanks Jill Clifton who was responsible for creating the garden in memory of her beloved Jack Russell Charlie. The garden is also home to our Ark and has a small picnic area.
If you are interested in having a plaque please contact the office at Foal Farm for more information 01959 572386 or email info@foalfarm.org.uk
How you can help: The memorial garden will need continuous work so green fingered volunteers are always welcome.

Foal Farm Jubilee Year 2010
Objectives: On the 1 August 1960, 20 people met in a disused kitchen and agreed to form a rescue centre, called Friends of Animals League (FOAL), with the simple aim of saving as many animals as possible, to care for them until fit and well and then place them in good permanent homes.
The founders Carl & Penny Baker purchased the current Farm in 1962. This had grown into the Foal Farm we know and love today. Next year 2010 it will be our Jubilee year and we plan to celebrate the work of Foal Farm over the last fifty years with many different exciting events.
How you can help: We will need volunteers for our many events coming up in many different capacities such as running a stall, collecting money or helping to organise an event. Please keep an eye on the volunteering vacancies (under ‘work on the farm’) as we will keep you posted when help is needed.

Bunny Park
Objectives: Our new Bunny Park was officially opened in March by The Mayor of Bromley and it is now officially open to the public. The new Bunny Houses all have outdoor runs for rabbit socialization and this also provides an excellent space for meeting potential new owners. The Bunny Park is a lovely environment for people to visit and provides a calm and relaxed environment for the rabbits during their stay before they are re homed.
How you can help: We will be looking for people to help with bunny socialisation. If you are interested in helping with the Bunny Park please contact Michelle from the Small Animal Team on SmallAnimals@foalfarm.org.uk

Canine Special Care Unit
Objectives: We have laid down plans to convert the old bungalow on the Farm to a Canine Special Care Unit using the existing footprint and as much as the original bungalow as we can. We hope to adapt it so it will include 8 Special Care kennels, 2 isolation kennels, kitchen/food storage area, grooming & bathing area, laundry, small work space, Behaviour Assessment/Training Room that will incorporate an attached ‘Real room’ that will be used for assessment purposes. These plans are in the process of being finalised.
How you can help: Please support our Buy a Brick campaign and help us raise the funds we need to proceed with this project. We will be looking for companies and individuals that will be interested in sponsoring our individual kennels. If you are interested please contact tribute@foalfarm.org.uk for more details.
