Foal Farm is in Biggin Hill, in Kent, and the walk is in the surrounding countryside. Some people who live too far away, get a group of friends in their area to hold a Foal Sponsored walk of their own. If you take photos and send them to us with your sponsor money. We will show them on the website later. |

Come and join us for a stroll (depending on the dog you’re walking) through the Kent countryside and help us raise money for the animals too.
This year we are holding the event to coincide with the bluebells. It is a great way to celebrate spring and the beauty of the countryside around us whilst meeting like-minded people and raising funds for a good cause!
We have three walks to offer this year:
The short walk is on fairly level ground with only slight inclines and no stiles. This takes about 30 - 45 minutes to complete.
The medium walk involves a steep downhill path through bluebells plus a rocky climb up on the return track. There is one stile. This walk takes about one and a half hours.
The long walk is quite strenuous, involving rocky tracks, steep hills, stiles and fabulous views. This walk takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on the speed of the walkers. Breaks will be taken on route so do bring a snack and something to drink if you wish.
All three walks have an optional pub stop!! This is at the Fox and Hounds on the Main Road, Biggin Hill where food and drink can be purchased. The pub is open all day and has a pleasant garden where dogs are welcome. Alternatively there will be refreshments served at the FOAL Tea Room.
The long walk will set off at 1.00pm and the medium and short will set off shortly afterwards.
Sponsorship forms are at the FOAL OFFICE or from this link. Registration is from 12.00 noon and everyone will receive a certificate of Completion. If you do not have a dog, you can still enjoy the walk and raise money! You are essential, the dog is optional!
Please note that sturdy footwear and outdoor clothing is highly recommended. We would ask that you observe all the relevant rules in the Highway and Country Codes.
Please note that whilst first aiders will accompany all the walks, members of public participate at their own risk.
If you have any queries with regards to the walk, please e-mail manager@foalfarm.org.uk
May the animals (especially the dogs) take this opportunity of thanking you in advance of your support and we’ll see you on the day.
