Hello, my name is Kat and I came in from the Council heavily pregnant, where the only space they had for me was in the cattery! I have since had seven babies, my waistline is finally returning to normal, and now I'm ready to get out of here! I am clumsy and mad, but I love people, I just really want you all to realise how much! Apparently my staff think I should have some 'training', and I need somebody at home during the day to keep me company. I do approach everything at 100mph, but life is so short, can we enjoy it together?
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Possibly a male, I do like to play…
Cats: Hmm, not sure yet.
Children: Older, as I am clumsy and might knock smaller children over!

Rover came to us after being knocked down in the road ('Lucky' might be a better name for him)! He has been a great little dog since day 1 and never grumbled once while we were treating his injuries. A real friendly, lively and affectionate dog, this boys just needs someone to give him a good routine. He is medium sized, sociable, clean in the house and mostly ok on the lead but will require some work.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Yes (depending on introductions).
Cats: Possibly - to be assessed further.
Children: Depends on the kids - he is quite bouncy!

  • Name: Bruce
  • Breed: SBT X
  • Age: 10 years

URGENT PERMANENT OR FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Bruce is an ageing gent, whose zest for life is greater than many younger dogs! He is still a playful, fun boy at heart, although his body can't always keep up! He has found a gait that suits his mobility problems, as he has spondylosis and skips rather than walks. We expect that Bruce does not have long for this world, so we would love to find him a permanent foster home where he can enjoy the rest of his days in comfort. PLS NOTE: If Bruce requires any veterinary treatment in the future the costs will be covered by Foal Farm.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Seems ok with calm dogs
Cats: To be assessed
Children: Older due to lack of history

  • Name: Sophie
  • Breed: Border Collie

Sophie is a lovely, loyal girl who doesn't need much from life other than a caring owner, somewhere warm and quiet to curl up (preferably at someones feet) and a little bit of exercise. She has a heart problem, but it is now under control with tablets. We are looking for a long term foster home for her, with someone willing to bring her back to FOAL for check ups and we will supply the medication. She is great off the lead and very obedient. Please take pity on this girl, she hasn't had much luck in life.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Prefers to be the only dog.
Cats: Not a great fan of cats.
Children: Some quieter kids.

  • Name: Norbert
  • Breed: X Breed
  • Age: 2 years

Norbert is an absolute clown who will make you laugh with his antics! We do not have any history on him, so somebody with experience of large dogs would be ideal. Norbert loves to play and has a favourite squeeky carrot that he'll have to take to his new home! He is strong and needs further lead training, so training classes would be a must, and he is very biddable for food! Norbert has a skin condition which has caused him to loose some of his hair and this is unlikely to grow back, earning him the nickname 'Naked Norbert', not that he notices!
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Possibly a large female
Cats: No
Children: Teen upwards - very large and bouncy!
