- Name: Sophie
- Breed: Border Collie
- Age: 11 years
Sophie is a loyal, intelligent girl who like to make friends at her own pace, however loves the people she knows. She can bully other dogs and likes her own space and the attention all to herself, however if they do not pester her she seems fine. Sophie will make somebody a lovely companion in a calm, older home.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Some, preferably a calm male companion.
Cats: No
Children: Older
- Name: Norbert
- Breed: X Breed
- Age: 2 years
Norbert is an absolute clown who will make you laugh with his antics! We do not have any history on him, so somebody with experience of large dogs would be ideal. Norbert loves to play and has a favourite squeeky carrot that he'll have to take to his new home! He is strong and needs further lead training, so training classes would be a must, and he is very biddable for food! Norbert has a skin condition which has caused him to loose some of his hair and this is unlikely to grow back, earning him the nickname 'Naked Norbert', not that he notices!
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Possibly a large female
Cats: No
Children: Teen upwards - very large and bouncy!
- Name: Rosie
- Breed: Lurcher
- Age: 10 years
I'm Rosie, and as you can see I like the simple things in life, like lying on a sofa! I can often be found curled up under a duvet. I am currently staying with a foster family, with children and other dogs. I have a lurcher friend here who I like playing with, so I could happily live with some dogs as long as I meet them here and we get along. I do not mind being left for short periods, so if you work part time to pay for my luxuries I do not mind!
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Yes, I wouldn't mind a similar male friend.
Cats: No.
Children: Yes, I like children!

If you are looking for a dog that loves to play football and have the energy then perhaps Ollie is for you.
Ollie has been assessed in the home and is clean overnight but will need someone at home all day at first.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Possibly, preferably female
Cats: Under assessment, has lived with previously
Children: Slightly older, very bouncy!
- Name: Benson
- Breed: MastiffxBoxer
- Age: 8 years
This absolutely wonderful lad was given up by his owner because he is partially incontinent. Poor Benson makes every effort to control himself and will mostly stay clean at night but can't help the odd mistake, which is usually confined to his bed. Benson was drinking excessively and not losing weight despite upping his exercise and restricting his diet. When tested, we found that Benson is hypothyroid therefore requires tablets daily (which he readily eats in his dinner!) and he is also has a form of diabetes which he does not need medication for, but he does have to have his water intake restricted.
Benson is a very well behaved boy and walks beautifully on the lead, although at times he can be stubborn and lazy! He has a number of tricks that he can perform on cue, he'd love to show you!
Benson is absolutely faultless apart from his little problem, and would suit someone who has hard flooring and has coped with this problem before.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: No, as he has to have his water intake restricted
Cats: Takes no notice
Children: Yes
