- Name: Chip
- Breed: GSD
- Age: 3 years
This handsome lad is wary of strangers, yet once won over he is an affectionate, playful dog who overbonds very quickly. Chip requires an experienced home as he has a tendency to protect his handler. He is fine with larger dogs when out and about but thinks anything small and furry is lunch! This dog will make a fantastic, loyal companion for somebody with knowledge of large breeds and their traits, who is prepared to manage and overcome his issues sensibly. We would consider homing Chip as a 'yard' dog if the circumstances were suitable.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Possibly larger breeds, depending upon successful introduction at Foal
Cats: No!
Children: No.
- Name: Chipper
- Breed: JRT
- Age: 5 years
This cheeky chap would do best with an experienced owner. Chipper is a great little dog once he gets to know you, but does not wish to be treated as a lap dog.
We have no trouble with him here at Foal, we are simply greeted with a waggy tail each morning. In the home the mischievous fellow may well get his feet under the table so would need his boundries set from day one.
Overall Chipper is a great little dog for the right home.

Children: Teenage upwards
- Name: Polka
- Breed: SBT X
- Age: 11 years
I'm Polka, an older gent looking for a special home. Kennels are not the best environment at this stage of my life - I'd prefer a comfy bed in a warm living room! I like other dogs but get possessive over my grub so would prefer to be fed on my own. I like people and would love somebody who I could sit next to all day and keep you company.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Yes, although would prefer calm older companions.
Cats: No thanks
Children: Older, as would prefer a quiet retirement!
- Name: Lupo
- Breed: Labrador
- Age: 8 years
Check out this big bouncy handsome lad.
Lupo gets on well with most other dogs but would prefer a female companion. Although Lupo likes the company of people this boy has an extreme obsession over food so will require an experienced owner with no children.
Lupo's settle more easily in a quieter home with a good routine.
Who can I live with?
Dogs: Yes - depending upon successful introductions at FOAL
Cats: No
Children: No. Or any visiting children.
