Ginseng

Ginseng
Breed: British Shorthair Age: years Sex:
Ginseng first arrived at Foal in 2007 aged 4 years and originally came to us for re-homing as she was not house trained. This problem can normally be resolved by a change of environment but when she moved into her next home she refused to go outside or use her litter tray! She is much happier living back here at Foal and is often seen around the kitchen. She has her choice of numerous beds there, and likes to see what the staff are cooking for the animals too, but also has freedom to go out if she chooses.

PK

PK
Breed: Long hair Age: years Sex:
PK was approximately a year old when she arrived in 2007, but sadly had been involved in a road traffic accident. Her tail had to be amputated and she was also left without any bowel and bladder control, so this meant she was unsuitable for re-homing. She is a very pretty little cat and is The Queen of our Feline Isolation Block. This is where she now lives but also has the freedom of the farm too if she chooses. She will live on the farm for the rest of her life - with dedicated staff to wash her bottom as required!

Woody

Woody
Breed: DSH Age: years Sex:
Woody was returned to Foal in October 2015 due to a child allergy. He is very affectionate, chatty and just loves people so the more attention he can have the better. He is very lively and loves the outdoors we usually find him somewhere on the farm getting himself into mischief, but will always come back to FIB for his dinner and bed time. Woody is currently suffering from an ongoing skin condition and is currently under treatment which is likely to be continuous. He is great with all the other cats here at Foal and is having a great time.

Jacob

Jacob
Breed: DSH Age: years Sex:
Please meet our lovely Jacob, he came to Foal in December 2013. This poor boy originally came to us as a stray after living in a crate for some months! Since being here at Foal we have noticed that only the smallest change in our feline isolation block can really upset him and cause him to retreat and find a hiding place, he really is a very sensitive soul. He does get on really well with the other cats and has even made some very good friends. He does suffer with an ongoing skin condition which we are managing but we have never been able to keep him off his medication. He is a very gentle boy who loves a lap and is adored by everyone who meets him.

Lily

Lily
Breed: DSH Age: years Sex:
Lily arrived in 2015 at 5 years old. She will be a permanent resident here at Foal, she was found collapsed and suspected to be involved in an RTA. She had suffered trauma to her stomach, spine and her bladder was re-placed. Fortunately an operation saved her life but has left her with incontinence, her owner found this very difficult in the home. The only thing we have to do for her apart from lots of TLC is to express her twice a day. A very beautiful girl, timid at times, and super affectionate at other times too. We are pleased to be able to give her a home with us and she would love some help with her keep.
