Toys Needed!
The poor dogs in the kennels at Foal Farm are getting bored and a little bit stressed when their human buddies aren't around to spend time with them. We have asked them what they want most, and after a new forever home, they all said TOYS, TOYS, TOYS!
So we are appealing to you to dig deep and donate some new toys for our dogs to pass away the hours spent alone. We need anything that is hard, non absorbent and difficult to chew into little pieces. Nylabones are really good as are Kongs because we can stuff them with treats. Examples of what we don't want are tennis balls, rope toys, squeaky toys and stuffed toys. If you aren't sure what to donate then please phone the farm and ask for a member of the Dog Team. Let's get those tails wagging!

Payroll Giving is a really cost-effective way of supporting Foal Farm.
The scheme is a simple, tax-free way for you to donate to Foal Farm from your pay. If your company offers Payroll Giving, you can authorize them to deduct regular donations from your pay. As deductions are made before Pay As You Earn tax is deducted - you get tax relief at the top rate of tax. This means that Payroll Giving adds at least 28% more to your charitable donation and it's the only way that a higher rate tax payer can give all their tax on a donation to a charity automatically. For example, if you pay tax at the basic rate, giving £10 a month will only cost you £7.80 because you save £2.20 tax. For anyone paying tax at the higher rate, giving £10 will only cost them £6 because they save £4 tax. If your company doesn't offer Payroll Giving why not approach them and suggest they implement a Payroll Giving scheme? They are easily set-up and increase the size of current and future donations you make to Foal Farm.
