Bringing a Small Animal to Foal Farm for Re-homing

We understand that circumstances arise which mean you may no longer be able to care for your pet.

Please consider carefully whether you wish to part with your pet. If the reason is a change in the small animal's behaviour then please visit or contact your vet as there may be an underlying health problem that is affecting them.

Please also consult all family members about the decision to re-home the animal as once placed in a new home you will be unable to retrieve them.

After considering all options if you would like Foal Farm to re-home your cat please follow our guidelines below:

1 Let us know

Please email us on small_animals@foalfarm.org.uk or call us and let us know that you would like to bring the animal to us for re-homing. Please provide as much detail as possible about them such as age, breed, temperament and family history.

2 Make an appointment to bring the animal to Foal Farm

3 Bring in the animal

Please bring with you any vaccination certificates or medical history as well as any special dietary requirements.

There is no charge for bringing a small animal into Foal Farm but a donation towards the care and re-homing of the animal is greatly appreciated. All animals that arrive at Foal Farm are examined by the vet and given any medical treatment that they need. This care is entirely funded by charitable donations so please be generous.

We accept cash, cheques or credit cards or you can click on the button below to donate online.
