Dogs Available to Sponsor

  • Name: Phoebe
  • Breed: Collie X
thumb
Beautiful Phoebe arrived with us in August 2011 after her owners could no longer care for her. We quickly put Phoebe into a foster home as she wasn't coping with a kennel environment but as her weight continued to drop we sent her to the vets for tests. We've found out that Phoebe has an intestinal disorder (PLE) which will require daily medication and a special diet. Her future health status is unknown so she will remain with her foster Mum.

  • Name: King
  • Breed: Dobermann X
thumb
This is our favorite boy King. Although we love him dearly King exhibits behavior that makes him unsuitable for a normal home environment. King loves to play ball and run around with toys in his mouth, when this bouncy boy is having fun it is so easy to forget he has any issues at all. Please consider sponsoring King and help make his life and the life of other sponsored dogs at foal a good one.

  • Name: Gucci
  • Breed: Shih-tzu
thumb
Gucci arrived at Foal early 2009 after his owners found him too difficult to look after. He had even been handed back to his owners by another rescue organization who found the little fellow a handful. After being homed by us and once again proving too difficult for the average home we deemed him unsuitable for re-homing. Gucci has now been placed on our sponsorship scheme and spends about 70% of his time with a member of the dog team and 4 other dogs. Gucci's hobbies are - scrounging titbits, lazing around in our office at break time and visiting the seaside. Gucci does not like - having his hair cut or being disturbed by his friend Layla (Rotti.) at bed time. Look out for further information on Gucci.

  • Name: Bodie
  • Breed: Cocker Spaniel

Hi folks, My name is Bodie. I'm a really cool dude but sometimes I can't help being very grouchy. For this reason I now spend most of my time staying with a member of the dog team. I get on well when I stay at my foster home, it's great I can chill out at home during the evening and get to spend all day with the other dogs at Foal. My favorite part of the day is tea break, that's when people have food. I've recently been on a trip to the seaside with my friends; Look at my picture, don't I look great? Please consider sponsoring me, it will help pay for my yearly vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, food and any other unexpected expenses.

  • Name: Zash
  • Breed: Lurcher
thumb
Zash is a male neutered lurcher who came to Foal in December 2005. He was found with another dog tied up to a tree. Unfortunately, although Zash loved the other dog,an older female lurcher, she wouldn't allow Zash to eat his meals, a common problem among pack dogs which have had to scramble and grab for just enough food to survive. Zash was painfully thin and the decision was made to separate them and the female was re-homed.
