Lexi is a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and is looking for a new home as her previous owner was unable to keep her as she did not get on with the cats in the home. Lexi is a shy girl as she has had limited experiences with the outside world.
This little lady walks quite nicely on the lead but can react to some dogs out and about, she can be nervous of some people she does not know when out and about. She would prefer to walk in quieter areas to begin with to allow her time to settle and pick up the training successfully that is set out by the staff at FOAL.
We are looking for a quiet home with a singular person or a couple who are willing to work with Lexi to help her feel more confident within the home and when out. Due to Lexi showing aggression around food and her people we are looking for a home with no other animals or children that reside or visit the property.
Once you have made a bond with Lexi she is a loyal friend for life and she does come around fairly quickly and has already made friends with the staff and volunteers at FOAL. She has shown that she has heaps of potential and just needs the right home with people willing to work with us to help her overcome her fears and anxieties.
